Missing Refresh button on excel ribbon

I don't have the refresh button on my excel ribbon, should this appear ? or is it only on certain instances of Jet Reports?

  It sounds like you upgraded from a really old version of Jet to a newer version.  Report and Refresh were renamed in 2018(?) to Run from Cache and Run, respectively.

  Using Run will act the same way as Refresh did in the past, running every query in the report against the database.

  Run from Cache will at like Report where it will only query the database for newly created or modified queries.
