Jetreport returning #Values in jet version 25.1.1.1183 and not in 24.2.0.1522

Hi, I made a jetreport long ago with the purpose of creating our own MRP overview. The report ran flawless for more than 10 years. First on NAV 2009 and since November 2023 on Dynamics 365 Business Central (Web services) Public cloud in combination with Printvis.

It still runs fine using Jet version 24.2.0.1522 but since we installed 25.1.1.1183 when an NL function searching the material requirement table and does not find a record, then he following NF function for order no. then returns a #Values. 

The report builds up 11 rows per item to cover consumption/production/purchase orders/blanket orders/end of week stock balance.

The report creates an overview per item per week for a 6 month period.

When I run the report for 1 single item it runs fine also with the new jet version.

I hope someone can put me on the right track.

  I would suggest modifying the Performance options in the Jet App settings on the computer running the report. If any are unchecked, turn them on and try running the report. If all options are already on, try turning off the Batch Function Execution and Multi-threaded Calculation options and running the report to see if that makes a difference. I have an old desktop running Jet reports that has had issues with those two options in the past.

  Thanks RJ EK for you suggestions. Unfortunately it did not have any effect o n the result. The performance options where all checked and turning the batch and multi thread off had no effect.

  Hi Arnoud, 

  I have exactly the same problem for nearly the same use case and haven´t found a solution since the occurance of the problem.
  
  We use jet reports for a demand-inventory-matrix, stock range and order suggestion date. Due to the multi-level-structure of our Bill of Material and most of the materials are used across several products, we’ve implemented a BOM matrix for each product, which builts the base for the demand-inventory-matrix.

  The key issue with the latest version of Jet Reports is the following: when a material is not part of the BOM, the output returns a #VALUE! error instead of an empty cell, even when we adapt the formula using "@@". While Jet Reports with lower complexity—such as item ledger entries or historical lists—continue to function correctly, more complex reports that rely on Excel-based calculations fail due to the presence of #VALUE! errors, which disrupt downstream formulas.

  Interestingly, a colleague who has not yet updated to the latest version does not face this issue and is still able to run reports without these errors. Another interesting aspect is, if a click the "check error" button, the #value disappears and the cell is empty.

  I really hope, the Jet Reports Support Team will investigate this problem further.

  Hi Tobias, a colleague of mine found a solution. I am validating it at the moment but it is looking good. It is also related to the performance setup. You neet to undo the tick in the <enable cache tables for etc.>

  By the way, I also have the experience that check error makes all values disappear one by one

  Hi Arnoud, 

  thanks a lot for your quick answer and your suggestion.

  If I undo the the field you highlighted I got no #VALUE but only the 1st level of the BOM will be displayed. JET does not display the underlying levels of the BOM. So unfortunately for my use case your suggestion isn´t working.

  Please let me know how it worked out for you and if you have any other ideas.
