Hyperlink a cell that moves

Good afternoon,

I made a jet report that pulls lines from our G/L and then sums them based on projects. The cell with the sum moves down as the lines are added. I have a separate page that shows a summary of the totals for quick comparison.

What I am trying to do is make a hyperlink on the summary page so if a number seems weird we can click on it and jump o where it is on the report so we can see the detailed lines and see if something is coded wrong. I've tried naming the cell with excels defined name feature but I can't seem to get it to work.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this? I haven't played around with the hyperlink function or formula too much but can't get it to work.

  Hello Taylor -

  I think the easiest way would be something like this...

  I've created a report that contains two lists and two totals.  You'll note that I have named the two totaling cells (in this case, "FirstTotal" and "SecondTotal")

  

   

  On my Summary page, I list out the totals and a hyperlink to each:

  

  When I run the report:

  

  My Summary includes the values from those cells and I can click the Link if I want to go there:

  Thanks this works. I must have spent too many hours getting the actual report to work, I had it working yesterday but I was typing the defined name wrong so it was throwing an error.
