We have recently just started using Jet Reports.
Is this possible to use Jet Reports to create Journals within Navision based on a Jet Report?
If not - what is the best way to create Journals from a Jet Report? I thought potentially creating a template which has the data you need and you copy and paste the journal from excel into Navision!

The short answer is that Jet Reports does not write back anything to the Dynamics NAV database.
I am not familiar with "Journals". So the only thing I can say is that IF the Journal capability within NAV includes an import feature... then it might be possible to create a Jet report what could then be used with that import feature.
Likewise, you idea of cut-and-paste, may also be feasible.

We are running NAV 2013 and use Jet Reports extensively for Excel-based journal entry templates, which can then be copied and pasted directly into the journal batch in NAV. It works great, especially for entries which are based on calculations, etc. You just need to make sure that the columns in your Excel template are in the exact same order as they are in NAV for those which you are copying. Depending on how your journal batch columns are configured in NAV, you may also need to rearrange them to make sure ones which do not support being pasted into are moved over to the right.
