We have a client who uses MacBook for design and production. They are considering using Jet Budgets but wanted to know if the data entry in Excel would be compatible with the MacBook.
I thought Excel Online may be a solution, but it is not recommended as it is not able to be sent back to Jet Budgets.
Are there any work-arounds?
Unfortunately not because Jet Budgets data entry and upload in Excel is done via the Jet Excel Add-In which cannot be installed on a Mac computer. The Jet Excel Add-In is only compatible with Microsoft Windows and the Microsoft Windows version of Microsoft Office. On a Mac computer you would have to run a Windows OS via Parallels or Fusion or RDP into a Terminal/Citrix Server.
