When a report is started via the scheduler, I get an error message from Diagnostic display. It stays on my screen for a few minutes and disappears by itself.

JaeW_atOnyx unfortunately, this is the type of stuff that support@jetreports.com should pick up.
some troubleshooting steps, try upgrading to the most recent release of Jet Reports (always troubleshooting step number 1).
then try (as the error messages says) re-registering Jet in Excel File > Options >Add-ins
Question, have you looked at / considered the Jet Hub for scheduling? I find it much easier for report distribution if I don't have to do batch scheduling.
