I know this is probably an easy one because I am a newbie to Jet Reports writing, but I need your help. Here is what I need.
I need a list of all customers and their discount group with sales. I would like to include Name, number, address, city, sales $ (2021 or 12 months), and discount group.
So I know where all of these fields are, I just dont know how to get this report while using the Customer table as the Main table.
Any ideas?
You can use the customer table to achieve all of this. If you cannot see the picture below let me know. Use Table Builder and select Customer.
All field except sales $ are in the Fields- Customer section.
Then click Flow Fields.
Find Sales $
You can add a filter to the report for Date range and make it user defined (or not).

So I have one more I need to ask about. I am being asked for a report that includes the following...
· Total Number of Orders / Quotes entered daily
· Customer Name associated with each of the above (Name vs account number as each system has different ways of coding this)
· CS or Sales associate who entered each order or quote
· Dollar amount associated with each order or quote
· Scheduled shipment date for each order or quote
· Number of line items per order or quote
So would this one be as easy as the last one? Can you help me with this one?
I think you have two reports there.
You have to think about what your ultimate goal is. Above you list both a summary report which shows number of orders/quotes daily and a detailed report showing line level information.
Table builder can get you both reports, or a more complex NL report in Jet can get you a combined report...
Summary- Quotes/Sales per customer use the same Customer Table and a date filter
You can use Sales Line/Header tables to get your detailed information. (filter to Quote for Document type if you need to drill down)
The only tricky one is number of lines per order. I am sure there is a way to do that in NL but not in table builder.
