I have a Jet Report populated by an NL("Rows") formula that is tied to today's date. It reports production data, so there is no data on weekends or holidays. The data includes some NL("First" and NL("Sum" lookups in the detail row.
If a date is chosen for which no data is present all the NL("First" and NL("Sum" formulas return errors. It is pretty ugly. What I would like to do is just display some kind of No Data Found message.
You have to add "@@"&
If your date field is D5, your formula should look like this: NL("Rows";"Table";"Field";"Date";"@@"&D5)

Thanks, I knew about that technique. If you have no data you just get a blank line, correct? I was hoping there was some option that allowed me to display a message like "No data found" or some such.
I would normally have a blank row above your column headers and just use an IF statement to say =IF(E8="","There is no data for your time period","") when e8 is where my replicator is.
When it is empty, it will display the message. If there is data, it will not be displayed. You can format the cell with red text and make the font bigger to make it stand out.
