When trying to activate Jet Express, I get the message "Compile Error in Hidden Module: XlamJetFunctions".
I'm installing on a Windows 7 system with Excel 2007.
Thanks,
Armando

Jet Reports Historic Posts Hi Armando -
During activation, the error "Compile Error in Hidden Module: XlamJetFunctions" occurs when Jet Reports is not properly registered on the machine. This can happen when security features (especially in Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows Server 2008) block the process.
Resolution:- - Deactivate Jet Express [Start | All Programs | Jet Express | Deactivate]
- Ensure that no Excel processes are currently running (Check the Processes tab of the Windows Task Manager)
- Uninstall Jet Express through the "Programs and Features" section in the Windows Control Panel
- Reinstall Jet Express by right-clicking the Jet Express setup file and selecting "Run as Administrator" - even if you are currently logged in as an Administrator.)[/list:u]
If that does not resolve the situation (i.e., something in the operating system continues to block the registration and the "hidden module" message continues to be displayed), it may be necessary to run the Activation utility [Start | All Programs | Jet Express | Activate] by right-clicking it and selecting "Run as Administrator".
