Help please... does Express work with NAV 5? [RESOLVED]

I am a novice with Dynamics NAV and have just installed Jet Express in the hope of being able to pull out some reports to help me improve our business. I note that Express is compatible with NAV 2009 or later. We run NAV 5.1 and I have no idea if this is later than 2009.

I have configured the Data Source Settings by following a video tutorial, I think I have done it correctly. However I get the following error when trying to use Express:

Could not connect to Data Sourse 'MyDataSource'

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello,
JetExpress works with NAV 2009.
NAV 5.1 is an earlier version, that works with Jet Essentials.

Hi,
Nop, just JetExpress comes free with NAV 2009. This is why you only have some limited functionality.
