I have noticed that my installation of Jet Express displays error messages after the automatic updates to my installation of Office (I use Office 365).
I am able to disable and then enable Jet Express (either using the utilities listed under the 'All Programs' section of my start menu or through Excel's 'Add-in' options) but is there some way to avoid this issue in the first place?
Thanks.

Jet Reports Historic Posts Hello Armando -
Under certain circumstances, it is possible for versions of Excel installed using Microsoft's "Click-to-Run" installation method to become unstable when used with Excel Add-ins (such as Jet Express).
This is a known issue with Click-to-Run deployments (as noted in the first bullet point under "General": Microsoft Click-to-Run: Known Issues - http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/word- … 50565.aspx) and appears to be related to when Excel is updated.
The symptoms include the display of various error messages (including that the Jet Express add-in failed to load or couldn't be found)
Although this issue appears most frequently with "Office 365" installations, any Click-to-Run installation of Excel 2010, 2013, or 365 is susceptible.
As you have found, disabling and then enabling the Jet Express add-in resolves the issue.
If you wish to *prevent* the issue from occurring, there are two known workarounds:
1 - While it is possible to disable Office's Click-to-Run updates, this is not recommended (as it would prevent Office from receiving important updates).
2 - Microsoft recommends changing the installation to an MSI-based Office edition (http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/word- … 50538.aspx). This method un-installs the Click-to-Run edition of Office and replaces it with an edition installed using the Windows Installer. -
Jet Reports Historic Posts This issue has been resolved in later versions of jet Express. Make sure you are on the latest version to avoid this. You can download it from: http://jetexpress.jetreports.com/regionhome.php
