Excel grouping and Conditional hide

This is what I learnt the other day. Thought it is a nice thing to share…

In a report I have a conditional hide on a row. This row is part of an Excel group of rows - setup with Data, Grouping.
If I expand the group the conditional hide is not executed - all lines are shown.

What I learnt from support: "…conditional hiding and grouping do not work together. This is not an issue with Jet Reports, but a limitation of Excel. Unlike worksheets, which can have a property of "VeryHiddenWorksheet" and cannot be shown by the enduser, Hides of Rows are a simple excel hide row and are unhidden when you expand a group."
