Hello Users

I was wondering if you have any feedback or any information you can share on installing JR on a citrix environment to use with Navision.

  Hi yvon7979,
  
  JetReports work prefect with Navision in Citrix envirnoment.
  
  However the security on Citrix is quite strict and you have to assigned the permission rights to the following files or folders
  
  1. Microsoft Business Solutions-Navision folder
  
  2. Navision License file (fin.flf)
  
  3. C/Front folder
  
  4. JetReports folder
  
  5. Jet License file (xxx.flf)
  
  6. Navision Database
  
  6. scrrun.dll (found in windows/system32 folder)

  Thanks a lot for responding. I wouldnt have known these things!
  
  Another question though… from what I've read from the knowledgebase on the subject, you need to configure a ODBC connection…

  If you are using Navision, you will use C/Front instead of ODBC. For c/front, you just install it and then in Jet Reports, Options, you set the datasource tab to your Navision server.
