How do I create a function with more then 1 LINK filters?

Hi there,

I'Ve got some NL functions with COUNT in where I have to set quite a lot of different filters.
The problem is that I'd need to filter over more then 1 different table then the original one, which would mean 2 or if possible even more LINK filters in the NF function.

Can anyone tell me whether this possibility exists or not?

  Hi there, this is an example situation:
  
  1 transaction can have multiple items and each item is descriped in the article table
  
  Table 1:
  - Transaction ID
  - Transaction Description
  - Transaction Date
  
  Table 2:
  - Item ID
  - Item Description
  - Reparation date
  - Transaction ID
  
  Table 3:
  - Article ID
  - Item ID
  - Article Description
  - manufacturer
  
  I want to see data in Excel containig something like this now:
  
  "count every (unique) Transaction Key after transaction date XXX (from table 1) where the Item was repaired (from table 2), and also manufactured from manufacturer XY (table 3)"
  
  This should roughly be what I am looking for if I didn't mess up the examples ;-)

  This exists in Jet 2009, but does not exist in previous versions. There are release notes on this in the What's new in Jet Reports 2009 area of the community site.

  One quick question regarding JetReports 2009 … is it possible to update to JetReports 2009 with an underlying Navision 3.7 (on a navision database)?

  The minimum requirement for the NAV executables is 4.0SP1. Lots of folks are running older databases with newer executables though, so you need to check help, about in NAV to know which version of the executables that you are running (this is the version number that is in parenthesis).
  
  You should be able to do this in any version though. It isn't quite as easy and probably not as efficient, but it would go like this:
  
  B2: =NL("Filter","Table 2","Item ID")
  B3: =NL("Filter","Table 3","Transaction ID","Item ID",B2)
  B4: =NL("Count","Table 1",,"Transaction ID",B3,"Transaction Date",B5))
  
  where
  B2 is a filtered set of all Item ID's in table 2.
  B3 is a filtered set of all Transactions ID's in table 3 filtered where the item is also in table 2 (an intersection)
  B4 is the count of the transactions within the appropriate Transaction Date, that also exists in both table 2 and 3.
