I have a report using data from the Production Order line. My date filter is 010109..083109. I am looking at the
items and the cost amount during this period.
I would like to subtotal by month, then have an overall total for the whole period.
I can do the overall total, but not sure about how to get the subtotals at the end of each month.

Jet Reports Historic Posts You should use an extra level with the following NL(Rows) statement (assuming you are filtering on 'Posting date'):
NL("Rows";"Production Order line";"=MONTH(NF(,""Posting date""))";"Posting date";"010109..083109")This gives you a list of all unique month numbers within the range you are filtering on.
The next level should be able to make up filter values based on the month number.
The idea is to ask Jet to work with the data through an exel formula, before returning it.
And you are allowed to use almost any excel function, so be creative …. 8-)

Jet Reports Historic Posts I have a similar situation. I'm trying to subtotal by month within a vendor invoices & credit memos from the Vendor Ledger Entry table.
I hope someone can clarify the previous response, since it seems to be a good answer.
I'm just not following it.
