Hi,
I am trying to schedule a report that will be viewed in excel by non-jet users. However, when I open the output on a computer that does not have jet installed there is only one row with #values in it. I have tried using all combinations of Auto, Hide, Lock, and Values in cell A1.
Has anyone gotten this to work?
Thank you in advance.

Jet Reports Historic Posts Hi robbmo,
You should put Auto+Hide+Values in cell A1. Then run the report (click the Report or Refresh button on the Jet menu or ribbon). After running the report, you should see that your Jet formulas are replaced with just the values. This is what we call "Report Mode". Save the Excel workbook in Report Mode and then you should be able to open it up on any computer regardless of whether Jet Reports is installed and see the values. Does that help?

Jet Reports Historic Posts Thanks for the reply Hughes.
I ran it under a different account and it worked. I am thinking that the account you use to schedule must be a jet reports user.
Thanks again,

Jet Reports Historic Posts Hi Robb,
Yes you are correct. When you schedule a task to run under a particular user, it is as if you logged into the computer with that user account and tried to run the account. If that user account doesn't have Jet Reports setup and activated in Excel then the report cannot run. I'm glad you figured it out!
