Hi,
I am really new to Jet, havent had any training as yet, pretty much just using the wizard to understand how it all works!
Since I work with 3 company's in Navision I need to create a scheduled report for a specific company instead of it using the last company I worked with.
I have seen some answers on here saying to add company=","Company Name" in all of your NL() formula's - but I am not sure exactly where to put this??
I have tried unsucessfully to insert the company= function so thought someone here could help me please ;)
This is my report
=NL("Rows","Cust. Ledger Entry",,"+Customer No.","*","Remaining Amount",Options!$D$5)
Please tell me where I need to put the company =function.

This one is fairly simple
in any filter choice ( doesn't really matter which though I prefer the first) add "Company=" ( you have to type it no drop down) then in the filter add company name or
Make this easier on yourself add an option sheet make company an option and point filter there then save copy change company in option rename and save again
If your formulas are consistent yuo can also make like simpler by doing this with Excal find and replace - just note whats in the return field and do a search and replace adding "Comapny=" , Companyname - This puts COmpany= in the first filter
ie field is "No."
replace "No."
"No.","Company=","Mycompany"
Hope I'm not being insulting with last but It beats going through every formula and adding the filter ( and it puts it as first filter which is where I like it ) -

Jet Reports Historic Posts Thanks so much for your reply - i thought that there was a simple way of doing this - it is now working for me and I managed to schedule my reports to run each night for each company
Thanks again for your help … and I wasnt insulted - I am totally new to Jet … but I can already see how much easier this is going to make my reporting from now on!

Jet definitely makes most things easier to deal with creating reports on. My only objection is my users have this habit of coming to me 10 minutes before they need a new report and figuring it should only take a minute or two to write :roll:
