After installing Jet Reports 2010 version 10.1.11019.0 I discovered 2 new settings in the Application Settings form. On the General tab is 'Always remove Excel Autofilters', and on the Advanced there is 'Show AutoFilter warning'. I couldn't find a description of this setting in the documentation. Can you tell us what the purpose of these settings is?
And can you add the translation for Dutch please? 'Always remove… ' should be something like "Altijd Excel Autofilters verwijderen". 'Show …' could be translated as 'AutoFilter waarschuwing tonen'.

Jet Reports Historic Posts Official comment Yes, this makes perfect sense. Thanks, Hughes, for the explanation.

Jet Reports Historic Posts Hi Hans!
This setting exists because there are some Jet users who really want to use Excel autofilters and don't mind the fact that if you set autofilters (particularly for sorting data rows generated by Jet) before running a report, you can completely ruin the report. Knowing this, in Jet Reports 2009, we made it so that if you had autofilters set when you ran the report, we prompted you so that you were forced to either remove the autofilters or were unable to run the report.
Now, we have changed this prompt to allow you to run the report despite having autofilters set. Furthermore, the message you receive has an option to not show the message again. Hence, you can choose either to have Jet remove or not remove autofilters when you run a report that contains them and you can choose to not have Jet prompt you about the decision. If you run a report with autofilters set, you will see the message (assuming you haven't unchecked the "Show AutoFilter warning" setting). Does that make sense?

Hughes
