Hi all… i am new in jetreport
i have a question about give role for jetreport user
here i have a case like this :
1. i have 1 database with 3 companies. Company A,Company B,Company C
2. users are : SA (can open all companies), USERA (only can open company A and company B), USERB (only can open company B and company C), USERC (only can open company C and company A)
how to set this?

Jet Reports Historic Posts I am assuming you are using a Navision database, is that correct? You have to set up permissions in Navision to the data your users do and do not have permission to. Jet Reports will respect Navision security, so if your users' roles don't have permission to company data for a particular company, they won't have permission to that data in Jet either. This doesn't prevent them from picking the company, but it means that if they run a report for that company they won't see the data in it.

Jet Reports Historic Posts My Setting is :
user01 set SUPER for company A and company B
user02 set SUPER for company B and company C
user03 set SUPER for company C and company A
sa set SUPER, company blank (it means for these 3 companies)
when i use SA for database authentication , it can open these 3 companies
but when i use User01/user02/user03…. it can't open any of these 3 companies -
Jet Reports Historic Posts Are you sure that user01, user02, and user03 can actually use Jet Reports? Generally Jet Reports has to get the list of companies and in order to get the list of companies, a user who uses Jet Reports needs to have permissions on the Company table with the company blank (not super permissions, just read permissions). But then again, maybe you're not talking about the Company table, but more generally about security on other tables. It seems like the security setup you describe would work when applied to tables other than the Company table itself.
