Hello,
Situation (NAV 2009, Excel 2007, JetEssentials 11):
- I have about 30 reports that run on daily schedule
- everything worked fine for about 2 months
- Today all the reports had VALUE in every cell
- I checked the logs - everything was as usual
- I tried to manually run a report and I got a message that a database could not be found
- I checked the Connection settings on Data Source Settings and everything was blank (I didn't changed anything)
Has anyone you encountered this issue before?
Thanks,
Elena

Jet Reports Historic Posts Hi,
I got a reply from Jet Reports Support - so if anyone encounters this issue this might me an answer:Jet's data source settings are stored in the "Data Sources.xml" file located in the the "Jet Reports" subfolder under the user's Application Data folder (%appdata%).
If, when Jet attempts to access that file, it discovers an issue (some type of corruption such as the XML not being well-formed), Jet renames the file (e.g., "Data Sources(1).xml") and creates a new, default, version of the file.
Something caused a problem with that file and Jet Essentials created a new file.
Some or all of the data source settings may be present in the renamed version of the file. I have attached an illustration showing where to find these files.
Since it is not possible for us to tell at this point what may have caused the issue in the first place, once the data source settings have been re-established, I would recommend creating a backup copy (using the Export feature available on the File menu in the Data Source Settings window) that could be imported should this problem happen again.
