Greetings,
Several users are experiencing their Jet Data Sources going missing. We have several different Data Sources set up per user, but a few times now they have all disappeared and have had to be recreated. We are also seeing the Jet menu from the Excel ribbon disappear. Reactivating Jet or going to Options > Add-Ins gets it back. Is anyone else experiencing thing like this?
Thanks,
Tim

Jet Reports Historic Posts Hi Tim,
Could it be that there are other Excel add-ins that are causing some sort of conflict?
Also, are the users running any Lotus compatibility options? I've seen instances where this can stop the Jet add-in from activating.

Jet Reports Historic Posts Thanks Ian.
Nobody is running Lotus notes and so far I haven't been able to find any other commonality with users that are having this problem. The activation is working fine and runs without errors.
Thanks,

Jet Reports Historic Posts Just one other thought that I had…
You're not running a load balanced terminal server type environment are you?
I've seen instanced when from the user's perspective, they think they are connecting to the same machine all the time, but the cluster is connecting them to a different machine. A machine that doesn't actually have all their Jet Reports setup on.
Other than that, I'm not really sure what else it could be. -
Jet Reports Historic Posts Nope, we're not running anything that complex. It's a quite vanilla local Jet install connecting to a stand alone SQL server.
Thanks,
Tim
