Hi All,
Our financial controller is trying to create a Jet Report that is using a universal datasource, using essentials 2012
The datasource uses the Oracle 11g client to connect to a database.
I know the connections is working, as it has been tested and completes successfully.
When she goes to the report wizard, picks the datasource, and picks the table, she then select the primary key and then all other fields from that table.
A limit of 5 rows is put in place, and that's all there is to it.
While still in design view, you can see the first row's primary key, and all other columns with data in are displaying correctly.
When the report is run/refreshed, the first rows primary key is displayed, but then ALL other cells are only showing #VALUE!
If the unhide/unlock button is pressed, the #VALUE!s are then replaced with the actual data.
We tried exactly the same with with Jet 2010, and the report works correctly.
In 2012, I tried removing some columns, so it was only retrieving about 10 columns.
When the report is run like this, there is no issue!
Is this a possible bug with 2012 that limits it to the number of columns it can display?
Appreciate any help and advice.
Cheers
