I'm trying to write a sales commission report that groups invoices & credit memos by salesperson, and then by sales team. The report I'm attaching almost does what I want - EXCEPT that it shows the information for each team as many times as there are members of that particular team.
Whether I'm writing from scratch or using the Report Builder, I'm getting the same result. Can anyone please show me the error of my ways?
Thanks in advance for any help. The skills of the people in this forum impress me so much!

Jet Reports Historic Posts Official comment Hmmm, the report you attached definitely has links in it which should make it only show salespeople under a team for which they have an entry in the Team Salesperon table. When I run the attached report, I actually only get teams that have sales people and under each team I only get the sales people for that team. I'm not sure why that wouldn't be working on your side. I guess you could make a report that shows you all the entries in the Team Salesperson table. Maybe you have a bunch of extra entries in there that are associating your sales people with teams that they are not really a part of?

Jet Reports Historic Posts Isn't the problem that your top level table is the Team Salesperson table? I would think you would want your top table to be the Team table in order to show each team only once. Then under that you could have the Team Salesperson, etc. Does that work for you?

Jet Reports Historic Posts Thanks, that's a helpful idea.
I've tried it, and now every salesperson is showing up (but only once - thanks!) under each team. I feel like I'm one missing filter away from having it right.
So I'd really appreciate any additional help. And thanks again for correcting me about the Team table! -
Jet Reports Historic Posts The report you attached doesn't look at all like the previous report. It doesn't use the Team table at all. Did you attach the right report?

Jet Reports Historic Posts Nope. Guess my brain started the weekend before the rest of me. Sorry about the confusion.

Jet Reports Historic Posts That's great to know. It seems to narrow the focus of the problem to "stuff I've messed up under the hood" on my computer. I'll work under that assumption. THANKS again for all your help, and have a GREAT weekend!
