I've downloaded the sample reports that Jet Reports provides and am trying to link with my company data. As an example, I'm looking at the report called "18 NAV AR - Accounts Receivable with Details." When I open the report I see all the data for the Cronus company. I then refresh the report, and my data now populates in both the table and the pivottable. My problems is that when I do a drill down in the Customer or Customer No. field (any field really), I see all the data/customers from CRONUS which are not in my database at all. I've tried purging the cache, removing the fields and re-adding them, but haven't had any luck. Has anybody been sucessful with this? I can't be the only one with this problem.
Thanks
Adam

Markley, Lori I ran into a similar problem with the Pivot Table filters at the top of each of the column headers, with both the sample reports from Jet Reports, and with Jet Reports that I have created myself, which I then used as the basis for other Jet Reports. When I clicked on the filter dropdown buttons, all the old Cronus Company data showed, in addition to my database data. This apparently is a Pivot Table Options issue. Here's how I fixed it:
- Click on any cell in the Pivot Table, right click, and select PivotTable Options
- Go to the Data Tab and find the sub-section called "Retain items deleted from the data source"
- In the field called "Number of items to retain per field," click on the dropdown button and select "None"
- Click OK
- Then Refresh your Pivot Table (Analyze > Refresh)
Your Pivot Table filters should now only show the items from your Data Source.
Hope this helps anyone else who has run into this issue!
Lori
