I have a user who receives the following error when I try to setup the database connection in Jet Essentials 2013.
"Jet could not verify your license status for the following reason: Dynamics NAV C/Front reported the following error: You do not have permission to read the Company table. Please check your data source settings."
This user is a super-user in our Nav 2009 R2 system and can use Nav just fine.
Any other user I can license and setup on the same computer, but this particular user I cannot setup on his or any other computer.
Your input is appreciated.
Thank you,
Chris

Jet Reports Historic Posts I figured this out, based on another thread here and some other internet info.
Open NAV Classic with SQL
Tools -> Security -> Windows Logins
Select the user
Modify or Add a role but leave the Company Name blank (I actually deleted and re-added an existing role but left the company name blank)
