Hello,
I am getting the following error message when I try to create a new schedule since all my previous jet scheduled tasks are gone:
"Unhandled exceptions has occurred in your application. if you lick Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempts to continue if you click Quick, the application will close immediately. Could not load file or assembly 'AutoPilot, Version =14.1.14226.0. Culture=neutral. PublicKey Token =54d77d48d2dbe5c6' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. "
How do I fix this error message. Initially, I had scheduled multiple jet reports to run at different times (over the weekend), and the output of the report needs to be sent to different people. Sometimes the report is generated but not sent via email. Does my outlook needs to be running over the weekend in order to send/email the reports?

Jet Reports Historic Posts I have had problems myself in scheduling multiple reports to run at the same time. To work around this, I setup my jobs to run all the reports in the folder instead of the reports individually. Doing this may help with some emails that are getting missed if multiple reports are trying to run at the same time. You can use named ranged in the reports for the email addresses to send to instead of assigning them directly in the job if that's why you had multiple jobs.
Your error message looks like you may have a rights or windows problem. There is a KB article on scheduling jobs: http://kb.jetreports.com/article/AA-00490
Check to see if you can schedule task in Windows Task scheduler. The Jet Reports scheduled task should also exist in the Windows Task scheduler. If they don't show here then maybe you are logged in with a different profile? I would also check to ensure that "Run Scheduler as administrator" is checked in the Jet Application Settings.
The version of Jet Reports you are running is also a few builds behind as they are on 15.x now. Upgrading to the latest version is always a good idea.
Hope this helps. -
Jet Reports Historic Posts There is an interval of about an hr or so between each scheduled Jet report that is suppose to be run by the scheduler.
Also, regarding the emails not getting sent do you think that it might have to do with the fact that I don't leave Outlook running?
The error seems specific to something called "Autopilot" not being able to load. What's AutoPilot?I would also check to ensure that "Run Scheduler as administrator" is checked in the Jet Application Settings.
I verified that Run Scheduler as Administrator is checked.
This might seem like a newbie question: How do I update to the next version of Jet Essentials. Do I uninstall the old one and install a new one from scratch?
Also, we are running Excel 2010 and NAV 4.0. Is Version 15.x compatible with the excel version and NAV version that we have? -
Jet Reports Historic Posts The requirements for running Jet Reports are listed here: http://kb.jetreports.com/article/AA-00446/0 and http://kb.jetreports.com/article/AA-00741/0
These are part of the install guide: http://kb.jetreports.com/article/AA-00697
You have to be current on your AEP with Jet to update to the latest version. You can check your license status by opening the Jet ribbon and clicking Data Source Settings and clicking on the link at the bottom. I also attached the file that list this from the update I downloaded this morning (new version released yesterday). It's always recommend to uninstall before you install the new version.
For the scheduled reports, is it not sending any reports? The auto pilot is the program that runs the reports and calls outlook. If everything is configured correctly then you shouldn't need to be logged in for the reports to run and send. It's likely a rights issue with the user security. You can also use SMTP instead of Outlook.
