Hello all,
The last few weeks I have been having issues with scheduled reports. For the last 6 months everything has worked well and all of a sudden scheduled reports begun falling over and some even disappeared.
The main issue I am coming across is that the status of a scheduled report appears to get stuck on "Running" even when the report has completed and emailed out. If I check the processes section of the Windows task manager when I find one stuck on "Running", I can see that excel is using high memory even when not open. If I end the "AutoPilot" process then the changes back to "Ready' and the excel usage drops off.
Has anyone else come across something similar? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you,
Jerome Howard

Jet Reports Historic Posts Hi,
are all or some reports starting at the same time or nearly the same time?
Then i would suggest to change the starttime.

Jet Reports Historic Posts Hi Jetsetter,
Thanks for the reply, they are scheduled as various times throughout the day but no lose than 15 minutes apart.
I currently only have just 1 report scheduled why I sort this issue out, that report ran and emailed out at 5pm on Friday but at 8am Monday the status was still "Running".
Thank you

Jet Reports Historic Posts Hi all,
Think I have found a solution, using SMTP for email it all appears to be working. There may be an issue with the connection when using outlook (whether its outlook, Autopilot or even an antivirus I am not sure).
Thanks -
Jet Reports Historic Posts Yes, Im getting this too. eventually so many instances of autopilot are open that no scheduled reports will run. i have to reboot or manually end the autopilot processes in the task manager and then run the scheduled reports manually through the scheduler.

Jet Reports Historic Posts Hi Matthew
I have a few suggestions that may help you. First, if you implement the solution that worked for Jerome (using SMTP instead of Outlook), do you still have the same issue?
Second, if you aren't on the most recent version of Jet, I would suggest upgrading if possible. Version 15.1.15148 was just released this week.
Lastly, if these don't work, I would suggest hitting up the Jet Support team and provide them with as much info as possible: support.jetreports.com -
Jet Reports Historic Posts I encountered the same problem when our company changed to a new email server. Switching to SMTP in Application Settings fixed the issue, and I did not have to use any advanced settings.
The annoying part was changing all of my scheduled tasks one by one from Email using Outlook to SMTP.
