Hey all,
Recently our IT departmenet upgraded me to JetEssentials 2015, since that moment I get the feeling that reporting has become slower. JetEssentials shows me the usual progress box telling me what it is doing, but since the upgrade I seem to have to wait a long time while Jet is 'Prefetching replicated data'. I have no clue whatsoever what is meant, just have the feeling that it is an extra step that just takes a very long time.
Could it be that the upgrade wasn't performed correctly? Did someone forget a checkmark or put one too many?
Hope to get useful answers….
Rgds,
Willem

Jet Reports Historic Posts Official comment Hello Willem,
Jet Reports has added a bunch of performance improvements in the recent released of Jet Essentials. You can turn these on and off from the Performance tab of the Application Settings window.
Batch Function Execution can have the highest reward for performance improvements but some rules need to be followed. There is a knowledgebase article on this functionality and how to design your reports to take advantage of it.

Again, you can test the report's performance by turning this feature off. Just uncheck the checkbox. Please note that this is a universal setting for you, so if you turn it off, it turns off for all reports you run.
I hope this helps. -
