Hi Guys,
I have a report that has been running absolutely fine for some time, but just this morning, I have started getting an error when running the task.
AC
The error says "File \\server_name\path_to_file could not be opened. The following error was reported: Exception from HRESULT: 0x800AC472"
Anyone have any idea what this is trying to tell me please, so I can diagnose further?
The report opens fine directly in Excel, and I can run it, and because there isn't any more verbose information I have no idea what the issue is.

Jet Reports Historic Posts I just tried to run the report again from the scheduler, and now I get an error that says:
"The report parameters could not be updated"
The report does seem to hang when opening or trying to anything in it (move between sheets and save etc), so am wondering if perhaps there is something fundamentally broken within it? -
Jet Reports Historic Posts Rebuilt the report, essentially copying from one sheet to the other, and tweaking slightly here and there.
Now seems to run 10x faster, and works correctly from the scheduler, so guess as it was just an old report it wasn't particularly well designed initially.
