Hello,
we would like to connect to a Datev-Database by the universal connector. We were told that this might not be possible, so we are thinking about an alternative.
Datev allows an ASCII-Export, so could we export/import that data into NAV(?), Access(?) or into another Excel-Table and connect to that Excel-Table? Has anyone tried this before?

Jet Reports Historic Posts The Universal connector should work with any data source for which there is an OLE or ODBC driver. This includes Access and Excel.
The easiest way to use one of these is to first create a Windows Data Source (Control Panel | Administrative Tools | ODBC Data Sources) to connect to your specific source, and then configure your Jet Data Source Settings to access the Windows Data Source you created.
