Hi!
I am setting up Jet Express, but when I test the connection to the NAV database (I am using V2009SP1), I get an error message: the NAv license file cannot be found on the NAV client folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\60\Classic in my case).
Any ideas?…
Thanks a lot!

Jet Reports Historic Posts You do need to put a copy of your NAV license is the specified directory, and be sure it is named fin.flf.
Depending on your rights, you may be able to export this from NAV, Tools - License Information - Export. -
Jet Reports Historic Posts Hi Joel!
That's exactly what I did… I renamed it to fin.flf and copied it to the NAV cliente folder on my PC.
It ocurred to me that maybe this version (NAV 2009SP1) is not supported by Jet Express, maybe it is only supported for 2009R2, do you think this may be the issue?
Thanks a lot for your help!

Jet Reports Historic Posts Hello Rita,
Express is compatible with your version of NAV.
If file extensions are turned off on the computer, and you see fin.flf in the windows explorer, then the file is actually fin.flf.flf.
Rename it fin, as the flf will stay the extension.
If this does not work, can you upload a screenshot of your directory showing the fin.flf file.

Jet Reports Historic Posts Hi Joel!
I think it's alright… I attach here the print screen of the cliente folder, and of the license file, maybe I'm missing something…
Thanks a lot for your help!

Jet Reports Historic Posts Hello Rita,
Yes, from the screenshot I can see that extensions are turned off.
Can you rename fin.flf to just fin and then try the data connection again.

Joel
