Issues using Jet Express Plugin within Excel.

Hello Guys,

When users attempt to perform a "Refresh" within Excel 2013 32BIT they receive the error message.


"NL(1)is not available in Jet Express"

Please see the attached document for more information regarding the issue.

Any assistance would be really helpful.

  Hello -
  
  It would appear that the users are attempting to use Jet Express to run a report that was created with or for Jet Essentials.
  
  Jet Express supports the GL() function and the NL(Table) function.
  
  Jet Essentials supports those functions as well as the rest of the Jet functions [including the NL(First) function].

  I am relatively new to Jet Express & my Express users are seeing the same exact thing when trying to refresh.  The 1st statement does not provide any direction.  Does anyone have any solutions?

  Hello Christopher -

  Jet Express for Excel supports the GL() and NL(Table) functions.  

  If a report [e.g., a report created using Jet Professional] contains any other type of Jet function [e.g., NL("Rows"), NL("Count"), etc.], an error message is displayed to inform the user that the function is not available within Jet Express.

  

  Reports that contain additional Jet Professional functions must be run using Jet Professional.
