As you can see be reviewing the introductions section, we have many users from around the world. Sometimes, when we post a reply using the english version of Excel formulas, it can be difficult for our non-english users to translate the functions. I am posting 2 workbooks that will hopefully help.
The first is from Jet Reports, Inc and is included in every install of the software. This workbook includes Jet Reports Keyword translations for DAN, DEU, ESP, FRA, JPN, KOR, NLD, PLK, SLV, SVE, and TRK.
JetReports Tag Translation.xls
The second workbook may be out of date for Excel 2007, but does include Excel formula translations for English, Dutch, German, French, Spanish, Finnish, Italian, Swedish, and Portugese.
ExcelFunctionsTranslations.xls
If anyone has any additional Excel Language translations, Please reply to this posting.
Thank you,

Jet Reports Historic Posts One of my customers is an international corp. which makes many JetReports themselves. They are using a Dutch Excel version. Therefore, when thet provide me with a copy of these reports, all Excel formulas are in Dutch. Not when I just 'open' them as a sheet, but the formulas are automatically translated when I open them in Designer mode, and also when I try to run them by connecting to my local copy of their database. I am using an English Office version (2007). Other affiliates of this corp. are located in many other countries. Does anyone know how I can distribute these reports in such a way that they can be used with other Excel versions as well (including e.g. French, Norwegian) , without having to translate all the formulas manually? And would they then work properly if opened using e.g. a French Office version?

Jet Reports Historic Posts Excel does automatically translate all functions. However, it cannot translate any nested functions, i.e. NL(… "=LEFT(NF(;""MyField"");3)" ..) will fail, so be cautious when nesting.

Jet Reports Historic Posts Another small issue I discovered not so long ago:
formula's from the "Analasys Toolpack" in office aren't translated (ex the much-used: LAST.DAY).
