JetReports1.xls - cannot operate Jets as a designer

Good morning. I ran into a problem Friday when trying to run JetReports as a designer. I have been using Jet for about 2 months without any problems. I wanted to change a report that I designed a few weeks ago, so I tried to click Design, and I received this message…



I also get this message when I try to access the Jet toolbar. We tried uninstalling Jets and re-installing it, and I am still getting this error message and unable to use Jet in design mode. My IT guy tried finding the JetReports1.xls file in his Jet folder to copy and add to mine, and he is not finding this file in his. But he has no problems in Design mode.

Has anyone had this problem? Can anyone help me?

  This happens to me atleast twice a year. Excel "forgets" where the Jetreports1.xls file is located. This is what i did to correct the issue.
  We use Office 2003
  
  Open Excel and go to tools>Add-ins
  
  When the dialog box opens you should see an entry Jetreports (version) with a check in the box
  
  Highlight it and click browse
  Navigate to C:\Program Files\Jetreports\ and you will see the file Jetreports1
  
  Select it and ok out of all the screens. You now should be able to use Jetreports.
