I would like to create a report based on multiple databases, servers and companies. Already tried the examples in the help reference, but these resulted in #VALUE errors. Is somebody out there who can assist me with such a report?
Thanks in advance.

Jet Reports Historic Posts Erik
If you need to access multiple databases and/or companies, then you need to use the datasource= and company= functions of Jet Reports. For Example,=NL("Sum","G/L Entry","Amount","G/L Account No.","10000","datasource=","Datasource 1")will give me the sum of my g/l account 10000 for one of my databases, while=NL("Sum","G/L Entry","Amount","G/L Account No.","10000","datasource=","Datasource 2")will give a the sum for a different database.
I you really need some help writing the report, You will have to provide more information about the report, or contact Jet Reports. They have a really good services team that can really help. They charge for their time, but for complex reporting needs, they have been a great help.
You can email them at services@jetreports.com -
Jet Reports Historic Posts Hi Chuck,
Thanks for your quick reply. If I understand you well the datasource is the database name. And how about a database from another server?
