Multiplying a NL function

All,

I want to get turnover per customer amounts from out the general ledger entries table. If I use the NL function, then the credit amounts (negative) are shown in the function. I want to convert these into a postive amount. Does anyone know how to do this? Multiplying the cell with -1 doesn't work. Also a '-' before the function doesn't work.

  This seems a strange one, I can definatly change the sign convention simply by adding a "-" in front of the formula.
