Jet Reports Historic Posts Jet Reports 2009 is FAST! My biggest report runs in one quarter to one-third of the time required by Jet Reports 2007. The tweaks to the user interface are nice too. I'm looking forward to trying out the other new features.
The October 2nd release (build 9.1.9724.0) is stable and polished. Kudos to all for the solid upgrade of a great product. And thanks, JD for the guides to the new features. -
Jet Reports Historic Posts One thing that we did that has caused some issues was changing the Jet Reports folder name from JetReports to Jet Reports. This caused some issues with folks that had the path recorded in scheduled tasks, so we went back to JetReport in our release last Friday. One thing that can hang you up is field captions. Fields like Sales ($) are really Sales (LCY) in the database and if you don't have the language module folder specified in the data source settings, you can get #Value if you are specifying the captions. You should probably create a support request support.jetreports.com so that we can get you any assistance that you need and also to make sure that if you are experiencing something we don't know about, we get it fixed as soon as possible. Yes Jet Reports 2009 is backwards compatible with reports written with older versions of Jet Reports.
