Hi,
I just converted to a new Nav Client (from 3.x to client 2009 classic) and now I have a problem in mij autopilot command rule. To use the new client I had to upgrade to Jetreports 2010 which I like very much, instead of the following:
Instead of converting all my individual sheets in my workbook to htm files, Jetreports now converts the whole workbook in to 1 file which is in html. For my intranet I use hyperlinks to the different (converted) sheets. Now this doesn't work anymore, because the sheets are not seperatly saved.
Does anybody know if I do anything wrong? I use the simpleweb modus and it used to work with different sheets. Why does it do this??
my current command line:
"C:\Program Files\JetReports\AutoPilot.exe" /M "SimpleWeb" /I "F:\Intranet\Management\INPUT\salesmeter.xls" /O "\\DC01\DATA\Jetreports\Output\salesmeter"
I unfortunatelly still use office/excel 2003.
I hope somebody can help me.

Jet Reports Historic Posts Hi Joris,
In Jet Reports 2009 and 2010, there is no way to make Jet Reports not save the report as a single file. It works the same way (now) as in Excel when you do a Save As and select html. The previous behavior was actually a workaround method for saving html from Excel 2000 which didn't support saving html as easily as more recent versions of Excel. This method was dropped when support for Excel 2000 was dropped.
So that is the history, but you probably want to know more about actually solving your problem. When the single html file gets saved by AutoPilot, there is also a folder created with the same name as the html file but with _files at the end. Inside this folder, there are individual html files for each sheet in the workbook. What you could do is to change your hyperlinks slightly so that they point at the html files for each sheet which are contained inside this folder. I think this is probably the easiest fix for you if you really need to point your hyperlinks to individual sheets of the outputted workbook. Does that work for you?

Jet Reports Historic Posts Hi Hughes,
Thanks for your reply.
I learned from you / Jetreports support that it was an old functionality that I was using. Thank you for thinking along and acknowledging my problem. After my initial anger and frustration, I calmed down some and started thinking in options instead of problems. That helps.
I respect the options you gave me, but I think I will make it work in the new ways. Linking to the sheet in the "_files" folder is a bit iffy, I already tested that. I will have to rebuild all the links for that anyway, and instead I can also put an effort in rebuilding it in new style. In that case I'm prepared for the future, instead on relying on the past.
I do think it would me a good idea to put a choose option in the autopilot, so that users can choose between save in separate sheets, or as one file. Both options can be very useful, and it would be a plus in a future Jetreports version.
I really appreciate all the effort and the help of the Jetreport Support Team. Quick and clear responses, thanks to all of you.
Regards,
Joris
