After installing Jet Essentials I have connection with the Nav 2009 database. But when I open a report I receive following errors.
1. I'm not licensed to design
2. The license only allows reports created before 12/3/2009.
I have checked that the designer name in the Jet Licens is the same as in Excel options
What can be wrong?

Jet Reports Historic Posts Jet licenses have an "Updates thru" date which means they only allow versions of Jet to run which were created before that date. Basically the Updates thru date is the expiration date of your maintenance contract with Jet. When you pay your annual maintenance fee, you will receive a new Jet license which has an Updates thru date which will allow all versions of Jet created for the next year.
Since you have an old license with an Updates thru date of 12/3/2009, this means that either you haven't paid your annual maintenance to use newer versions of Jet or else you haven't replaced your old Jet license with the newer Jet license you received when you paid your maintenance. If you need to pay your maintenance or can't find your newer Jet license, contact your Jet sales representative. Until you get a newer Jet license, you will not be able to use versions of Jet Reports created after 12/3/2009. Does that make sense?
