Hi,
I'm facing a problem with Dimensions, i would like to get the total of Invoice lines by Product Family (Section Code in Posted Dimension Code table). Using the Table Builder i can use filter directly on Sales Invoice Line, but using NL function, this field does not appear, so i guess that i have to do it with link. tried to do that but no result?
Please check out my attachment.
Thanks,

Jet Reports Historic Posts Hi,
I believe you are using a slightly old version of Jet Reports. If you upgrade to the latest version, the field should appear (though it will be its caption, not the code that you see there). Even with the version you have now, if you type the dimension code into your function, it will work fine; it just doesn't appear in the lookup because it's not actually a field on that table. Does this help?

Jet Reports Historic Posts Hi Hughes and thanks for your reply;
In fact it works when i type the dimension code, i upgrade to Jet Essentials 2011 Build 11.1.12053.0 version, this is the version that i found in http://support.jetreports.com/ but it still does not appear??
thanks; -
Jet Reports Historic Posts You would have to be part of the Jet 2012 beta to get the version I'm referring to. The beta forum and download actually appear on the community site if you're part of it. I could make you a part of the beta, but typing the dimension codes has always worked in Jet Reports; it's just whether they appear in the GUI tools. Also, I think the beta will actually be released in the next week or two, so there's probably no point now.

Jet Reports Historic Posts Hi,
unfortunately, it still does not appear even with the new version! please check my attachment
Thanks -
Jet Reports Historic Posts As I said, what appears in the field list in the new version is the caption of the advanced dimension, not the code. It looks like you're searching for the dimension code rather than the dimension caption. The dimension code will still work fine in your formulas as well, but what you will see in the lookup lists of fields is the dimension caption, so look for that.
