Hi all! I am trying to generate income statements for each cost center in our database in a single workbook and then print to .pdf with bookmarks. I have it set up so that each cost center is generating on a separate tab in the workbook, so each report runs individually and all of the reports print to the same file from the scheduler. I am wondering if there is any way to automatically generate .pdf bookmarks based on the tabs? We have manually combined the files in Adobe in the past and generated the bookmarks based on the individual files, but I'm trying to automate that process. I've attached a screenshot of what one of our bookmarked files looks like in case that's helpful to anyone.
Any suggestions or known limitations would be helpful!
Thanks.

Jet Reports Historic Posts Hi,
Jet is just using the built-in Excel save as PDF functionality. Take a look at saving your workbook as a PDF in Excel and try out the save options there. If you can get it to create the PDF the way you want it, let us know (preferably on the Suggestions and Feature Requests board). If you can get Excel to do what you want with the Excel user interface, there is probably a way to make it happen in Jet, but it may not be possible because Excel's save as PDF functionality is somewhat limited.

Jet Reports Historic Posts Thanks for your response. Unfortunately I have been unable to get it to save from excel in the manner that I wanted. I will keep working on it and let you know if I find anything that works.
In the meantime, is there a way to set up AutoPilot to append to a .pdf that is already saved instead of creating a new file or saving over the top of a previous one? That may solve this issue more effectively than creating bookmarks from tags.
Thanks. -
Jet Reports Historic Posts Hi,
Well as I said, AutoPilot is only using Excel's built-in functionality for PDFs. You can't open PDFs in Excel; you can only create them. Since there is no functionality to open or append to a PDF in Excel itself, AutoPilot does not have this functionality either. Does that make sense?

Jet Reports Historic Posts Yeah, that makes sense. Thanks again for your responses - they have kept me from wasting too much time pursuing a lost cause. :)
