Hi,
I have designed a report with Auto+Hide+Values in Cell A1 and saved it in report mode. When my colleague (she is a viewer) starts the report it works fine. But everytime she tries to copy the cells of the report into a new sheet she gets the following message. And so do I when I switch to "Simulate Viewer Mode" and try the same.
As I already put Auto+Hide+Values on every sheet I don´t know what else I have to do in order to get it work.
Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance and best regards,
Tanja

Jet Reports Historic Posts Official comment Hi Tanja,
Well you are using a very old version of Jet Reports, so upgrading may be advisable. I can't reproduce your problem in newer versions so I'm guessing it has gone away, whatever it is. The +Formulas= in cell A1 is something Jet does when you use +Values so that it can identify which hidden worksheets contain the Jet formulas that were removed from the original worksheet. It is for internal use by Jet and it is supposed to be there in report mode when you use +Values. It sounds like your options are either only selecting the part you want to copy (not CTRL+A) or else upgrading to a newer version of Jet Reports.

Jet Reports Historic Posts Hi Tanja,
So far I can't reproduce your problem. I did the following:
1. Created an Excel file with Auto+Hide+Values in cell A1 of Sheet1.
2. Added =NL("Rows","Customer") to cell E5.
3. Pressed Jet -> Report to run the report.
4. Went to the Jet Application Settings and checked "Simulate Viewer Mode".
5. Copied the results of the NL(Rows) function into another worksheet.
6. Reran the report for good measure.
I never received that error message. Is there something you are doing differently? Also, what version of Jet are you using?

Jet Reports Historic Posts Hi Hughes,
I just recognised that there is Auto+Hide+Values+Formulas=Tabelle1,Tabelle2,Tabelle3 in cell A1. Maybe this is the reason why it doesn´t work?
I don´t know where the +Formulas=Tabelle1,Tabelle2,Tabelle3 comes from. In the design I had only entered Auto+Hide+Values.
Also, I had another try and when I only copy the results starting from column B I am able to paste the details in a new worksheet without any problems. It only doesn´t work when I select everything with Strg+A / Ctrl+A and then try to paste it in a new worksheet.
As far as I could find out we are using version 7.1.2
Thanks and regards,

Jet Reports Historic Posts Hi Hughes,
Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately we can´t upgrade to a newer version as we are using a really old version of Navision. Once we have upgraded Navision we will also upgrade JetReports but for now it is not possible.
So I guess I have only one option left. I will ask my colleague to copy only parts. Then it should work.
Thanks for your help.

Tanja
