Jet Reports Historic Posts Hi Andy,
I don't know. It probably depends on the version of Btrieve, whether or not there is an OLE DB or ODBC provider for that version, and how good of support it has for the SQL query language, which is how Jet retrieves data in Universal data sources. Btrieve itself is not a relational database, but from the Wikipedia article it appears that some versions at least did support variants of SQL. I have heard of people using Pervasive SQL with Jet before. Pervasive SQL is what Btrieve eventually became, so at least in the case of more recent versions, this can work. You would just have to try it and see. I'm sure you can get a trial universal license from your Jet sales person if you don't already have one and try it out (possibly with the help of Jet support).
