Hi, I've had an ongoing issue for a couple years now and our IT department can't seem to find the problem to fix it. They are now talking about re-imaging and restoring my system which I think is overkill. I'm using Excel 2007, I have Jet Essentials 2012 installed, version 12.0.12187.0, 32 bit.
First of all, I'm constantly waiting long periods of time for my Excel to open, all spreadsheets from new workbooks to saved spreadsheets. At times, they won't open at all and I get and error message that I can't get past and must use the Task Manager to shut Excel down. Sometimes it says Code Break on it, sometimes it's blank as per the attachment, but the results are the same: Excel must be physically shut down by TM.
Generally, after this happens, once I'm able to open Excel successfully, I get the second error message, also attached, telling me Excel experienced a serious problem due to jetreports.xlam.
Lastly, I'm also finding Jet not loading at all, yet when I open the add-ins, it's checked there. I have to uncheck it and re-add it again.
I'm getting desperate here. While I may not constantly use Jet, I DO use my spreadsheets dozens of times in a day and this is causing delays and frustration!
Thanks,
Debbi
