Hi,
Can anyone help me with the following little problem. I have prepared a table by sing the table builder. I have created a formula in the design mode. The formula itself is correct and provides the correct info from another sheet. However, when I am trying to refresh the report an additonal apostrophe is added before the function and hence Excel is only showing showing the formula instead of the result. By removing the apostrophe in "refreshed mode" it works correct. How can I solve this issue in the design mode so that my report is running properly after refreshing it? Must be something small….
Thanks.
regards,
Richard

Jet Reports Historic Posts Official comment Hi,
Accidentaly I managed to solve the issue. I changed the separator in the formula from ; in , and after refreshing the report gave the result of the formula instead of the formula itself. It had to be something small…
Thanks anyway.

Jet Reports Historic Posts Hi Richard,
Can you attach the report? It's hard to know what is going on without seeing it.

Jet Reports Historic Posts Dear Hughes,
Apologies for the very low response. The report is a bit large to add. However in the design mode I create the following formula :=NP("Formule";"weeknum([@[Posting Date]];2)"). When refreshing my report this colum shows '=weeknum([@[Posting Date]];2) (as if it sees the result as text..). When I remove the ' the correct result appears. I hope this is of help.
Thanks.

Jet Reports Historic Posts Hi Richard,
It sounds like you have the cell formatted as text or something like that. Is the report too large to upload even in Design mode? Normally in design mode, excel spread sheets are quite small since they don't have much actual data in them. I'm still not really sure from the description what is going on.
