Hi,
I'm facing a problem with one of my customer installation. When opening an excel file containing Jet formula the Jet ribbon disappears. If I open a blank Excel or any other file without Jet formula my ribbon display normally. Also, if I open a blank excel file and then open my jet file from there the ribbon display.
I've tried to activate / deactivate the add-on and it works, but when I reopen it I got the same problem again.
I'm working with Excel (office 365) and the 2015 version of Jet. The data come from NAV 2013 R2
Anybody have an idea to solve this issue?
Regards

Jet Reports Historic Posts Up until now, every Excel installation I have used, every now and then has this problem.
If only there was some logic to when it appears or not….
Sorry, I can't be of any help, but if it is of any consolation: you are not alone….

Jet Reports Historic Posts Hello sboulanger,
That is weird behavior. I have seen the ribbon disappear, but normally switching tabs resolves the problem and then its right back.
Since the problem is appearing when you open a Jet workbook my first guess is that the workbook is somehow corrupted. The easiest way to resolve this would be to open a new Excel workbook and copy and paste the functions. Try testing the report that is causing the problem on different computers.
I have seen Jet get stuck open in the background as well and sometimes a reboot can fix a lot. I know its a basic solution, but if the client hasn't rebooted since this started, have them try that.
If none of the above works then I would recommend a full uninstall and reinstall of Jet and possibly a repair of .Net and Office.
Hope this helps -
Seewoo Manna Hi there,
I just got this issue and found this conversation.
It could be due to open excel session that you may kill from you task manager.
