How Do I get the first and last (earliest and last date) row?

From the Capacity Ledger Entry table I want to get the first and the last date from a Prod Order.
I've tried this:
=NL("First";"Capacity Ledger Entry";"Posting Date";"Prod. Order No.";$E4)
=NL("Last";"Capacity Ledger Entry";"Posting Date";"Prod. Order No.";$E4)

E4 = P10004

But both NL-functions give the same result: 06.10.2008.

I've also tried this:
=NL("First";"Capacity Ledger Entry";"Entry No.";"Prod. Order No.";$E4)
=NL("Last";"Capacity Ledger Entry";"Entry No.";"Prod. Order No.";$E4)
But they also give the samt result: 21.10.1907.

The rows in the tables are attached as a screenshot.

  I would try explicitly sorting by date. Put posting date as a filter field, with the filter being if you don't actually want to filter it, and add a plus or minus to sort it.
