Income Statement by quarter

I am new to Jet Reports and I need help with preparing an income statement using either the report builder, browser, report wizard or table builder. A step by step guide will be helpful, so I can understand the data.

  There are, of course, any number of ways to create an Income Statement - just as there are various and sundry ways of presenting the information.
  
  Have you taken a look at any of the sample reports available with the Jet Report Player? (http://www2.jetreports.com/l/3692/2012-02-16/qt2q8)
  
  I've attached a handful of those that I found (based on Dynamics NAV).

  Hi HP,
  
  I looked at the sample reports prepared by Jet and play around with it. However,it is not easy understanding how these reports are prepared.
  
  I am looking to prepare an Income Statement with the headings, begin total postings and end total. I have attached the reports I am working on.
  
  I want to know how to do this grouping. I will appreciate your comments
  
  Income Statement
  
  Revenue
  xx sales revenue
  xx membership
  
  COGS
  Raw materials
  Wages
  
  Expenses
  Travel
