Hi,
Im making a report to be watched by a viewer.
However when i use "Auto+Hide+Lock" in A1 it tells me it will remove all of my "invalid" formulas.
How do i get past this problem so the viewer can watch and update the settings like, date and post code.
Kind Regards
Steffen

Jet Reports Historic Posts Hello SLSNptrucks,
Since you mentioned that you would like your Viewers to be able to make some changes to the filters (date, post code), then you would need to create an Options page which gives your viewers the ability to customize what they see without compromising the integrity of the data. This additional tab when created will show as a Pop-up when running a report.
Also, you do not need to use the Auto+Hide+Lock. Using "Auto+Hide+Values" in cell A1 of any worksheet in the report, should suffice. And what this does is that all Jet Essentials formulas will be converted to values while all other Excel formulas will remain intact and the worksheet will be editable (although changes to Excel formulas will be lost when the report is run).
Please take a moment and review the below Knowledge Base articles:

I hope this was helpful.

Jet Reports Historic Posts Thanks for your answer,
However i had a fault when ever i typed in auto+hide+lock or values, the fault was that i had a "table" inserted with colors and stuff, and it wouldnt accept that.
Now it works with lock and values.
Thank you for answering
