The user is not a super user but the default company name is blank, but still having the same error message. Any clues?

My client is encounter the error message of "the provided NAV credentials are not valid for this data source' when try to open Jet Report.
I have checked the settings in Data Source, all are the same as other user who can run the Jet Report without any issues. The message is kind of intermittently, happen every beginning of the month (he cant open the Jet Report) but is 'disappear' when come to middle of the month (and he is able to run the report). However, for this month, he is totally can't access with the same message prompt up. Any idea any setting is missed out?

NAV security can be a bit confusing.
If - on the user card - a user is given access to a specific company within NAV, this error can result when connecting (especially to a different company).
If the company name is left blank, the user will have access to all companies and this error should not occur:
